THE PROJECT Since 1999, TechTarget has published integrated media that enable technology providers to reach targeted groups of technology professionals and executives during their decision-making and purchase process. Through its industry-leading websites, conferences and ROI- focused lead management services, TechTarget delivers results that help marketers generate qualified leads, shorten sales cycles and grow revenues. They have won dozens of awards for media innovation and industry leadership, including more than 100 awards for editorial excellence. TechTarget's advertisers include the top technology companies in the world, among them, Cisco, Dell, EMC, HP, IBM, Intel, Microsoft, SAP and Symantec.
When TechTarget relocated their corporate headquarters, they were under an aggressive schedule to implement a complete build out of the new space, including construction, wiring/data, and furniture.
This project was highly competitive with five other major competitors. TechTarget realized that most of the mock-up typicals looked very similar in the space, and appreciated the design and value solution that AIS offered. We were able to promote an open plan approach to TechTarget.
Our ability to customize a workstation to address some of their requirements showed the can do philosophy of the AIS team. The designer also specifically liked our pedestal pulls and the
clamp mechanism for the glass. TechTarget also decided to utilize a frameless glass option throughout the workstations, and chose a lower height application (42”H) to promote
collaboration and take advantage of the natural sun light of the space. We also customized a special size base and used a thicker glass for their specifications. To complete the project on time, our installers worked simultaneously to complete the installation while construction was under way.
