Ben has a knack for creative solutions and dedication to superior service at every level. Ben will be helping grow AIS sales and distribution by developing and managing new channels while building and nurturing key customer relationships.
Senior VP - GSA Sales
Having joined the AIS team in December of 2006, David Morales is currently the Senior Vice President of GSA Sales. David brings ten years of solid experience in the furniture industry and 22 years working with the Federal Government. David’s experience with DOD and Civilian agencies make him a valuable asset when dealing with the intricacies of the Federal Market place. These qualities have made an impact on the AIS team and will continue to improve AIS’s position in the industry.
Senior VP - Midwest/West
Jeff Bohn joined AIS as the new Regional VP of Sales – Midwest in January of 2008. Jeff is directly responsible for Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North & South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, and Missouri. Jeff brings to AIS over 17 years of industry related experience, having worked with Haworth for the past 10 years. Jeff’s extensive knowledge and management experience are valued assets to the AIS team. Jeff holds a Bachelor's Degree from Indiana University and currently resides in Grand Rapids, MI.
Regional VP of Sales - New England
Ryan LaVangie joined the AIS team in January 2009 as Regional Vice President of Sales for the New England Market. Ryan is responsible for dealer and new business development, as well as dealer distribution and territory management to sustain growth in this region. Ryan brings to AIS nearly 10 years of contract furniture industry experience, having worked as an account manager for a major competitor as well as a Senior Business Manager for another major systems furniture competitor. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the UMass Amherst School of Management.
Regional VP of Sales - PA, DE, NJ
Scott Pitel joined AIS in 2005, and has recently been promoted to Regional VP of Sales – (PA, DE, NJ). He formerly served as Territory Manager for the Upper Mid Atlantic where he was a leader is sales growth. Scott has 15 years of furniture and facilities related experience, making him a valuable asset to the AIS Sales Team. His excellent planning and project management skills, paired with his capability to set and meet deadlines, continue to lead Scott in his career at AIS. Since the beginning of Scott’s career at AIS he has consistently been a leader in sales growth and the recipient of many awards. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.
Regional VP of Sales - Mid Atlantic
Mark joined AIS in 2006, bringing with him 7 years of furniture expertise. He previously held positions with both Kimball and National Office Furniture, developing lasting customer relationships and a wealth of product knowledge. Mark excels in dealer development by understanding their issues. Mark is now the Vice President of Sales for the Mid Atlantic, covering Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Delaware, West Virginia, Southern New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
Vice President of Sales - GSA
With over 10 years with AIS, David is currently Vice President of Sales-GSA as well as responsible for developing and growing our GA/FL Panhandle, AL, MS and TN markets. He brings high energy, determination and enthusiasm to the AIS team. With over 25 years of industry experience working for dealerships and manufacturers, he brings a unique understanding of the challenges of the marketplace. David currently resides in Marietta, GA.

Regional VP of Sales - Rocky Mountain Region
Brian Scranton has been with the AIS sales team since 1998, having first held the position of Territory Manager for CO, UT, WY and NM. After leaving AIS, Brian went on to head The Scranton Group, where he successfully represented AIS in the same territory. In December of 2008, Brian rejoined AIS in his current position as Regional Vice President of Sales for the Rocky Mountain Region, responsible for providing leadership for sales efforts in this region, working closely with the company’s dealer partners to promote AIS systems solutions. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Trenton State College and his MBA from the University of Phoenix.
Territory Manager - New England
Melissa joined AIS as Regional Sales Assistant in the winter of 2004. Having held previous sales positions, Melissa thrived within the department. Her outgoing nature and ever-increasing product knowledge soon led to her promotion to New England Territory Manager. She now works out of the home office in Hudson, MA, serving the New England area dealers. Melissa also calls on the NE A&D community and is very active with IIDA New England.
Territory Manager - NY
Jory Probber has worked with AIS for the past 12 years as an Independent Rep, and joined the AIS Direct Team in 2009 as Territory Manager for the New York Market. Jory is responsible for implementing Dealer sales strategy, design consulting, process training, and managing key Dealer relationships in this market. He has represented leading manufacturers as an independent rep throughout his career, and pioneered new companies, products and concepts in the market. Jory holds a BA in Comparative Literature from Brandeis University, and currently resides in White Plains, NY.
Territory Manager - NY
Kathy joined AIS in October of 2007 as Sales Representative and New York City Showroom Manager, responsible for showroom presentations, dealer and end user ralations, and product mock-ups. Previously, Kathy worked with AIS Rep Firm, Bill Gross & Associates for the past six years. Kathy holds a Marketing Degree from Baruch College in NYC and currently resides in New York.
Territory Manager - NJ, PA
Catherine Daler joined AIS in 2008, as the new Territory Manager in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania markets. She brings with her over 12 years of industry sales experience with Steelcase and Herman Miller dealers. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Ohio State University, and resides in Cranbury, New Jersey.
Territory Manager - Mid Atlantic
Mark has been with AIS since 2007, most recently as Territory Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region. Previously, he worked in this industry for 12 years at other large manufacturers. Marks holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Frostburg State University and currently resides in Maryland.
Territory Manager - NC
Kristin Bolduc joined AIS as a Territory Manager for The Carolinas and Southern Virginia in August 2007. Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an emphasis on Marketing from NC State University. While there, Kristin garnered key internships with the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes and the NC State Wolfpack Football Recruiting Team that further honed her marketing and sales skills. In her first position as a new college grad, Kristin worked for the nation’s leading provider of diagnostic laboratory testing, information, and services. During her time there, Kristin was not only an award-winning sales person, but was also fast-tracked to the highest sales position in the company. Kristin’s current AIS responsibilities include monitoring existing account segments, penetrating new market opportunities including GSA, working with the Architectural and Design Community, as well as partnering with the sales and dealer community to develop, implement, and monitor AIS sales strategies. Kristin is actively involved with a variety of organizations including Business Leaders of Charlotte (BLOC) and CoreNet Global where she sits on the communications committee.
Territory Manager - South Florida
Jim Boughey has been with AIS for the past four years, and currently holds the position of Territory Manager - South Florida. In this role, Jim is responsible for developing and servicing AIS partners in the South Florida Market. He previously served with Herman Miller for four years as Sales Manager. Jim currently resides in Miami, FL.
Territory Manager - Midwest
Bob joined AIS in May 2007 as Territory Manager for Western PA, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia. Bob brings 25 years of outstanding industry related experience to AIS, from both a dealer and a manufacturer’s perspective. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University, and has won several sales awards throughout his career. Bob currently resides in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania.
Territory Manager - Pacific Northwest
Mike Engebose joined the AIS team in February of 2009 as Territory Manager for the Pacific Northwest, covering Washington, Oregon, and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is responsible for implementing selling strategies, generating opportunities, and leading business development activities within his market. Mike brings over 25 years of industry related experience to AIS including both manufacturing and dealer distribution. He holds a B.S. in Accounting, and currently resides in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
Territory Manager, Southern CA
Wendy joined the AIS sales team in August of 2007 as Territory Manager for Southern California. Having previously worked for a Contract dealer in Orange County, CA, she brings with her 5 years of industry related experience. She is responsible for dealer development, servicing existing AIS dealers, as well as looking for new commercial and GSA opportunities. Wendy currently resides in Orange County, CA.
Territory Manager- Puerto Rico & Latin America
Roberto began his career at AIS in January 2007. He attended College in Puerto Rico at the World University in San Juan, and entered the furniture industry in 1992. Roberto has worked with several office furniture manufacturers and has been selling AIS product for the past decade. He is now the Territory manager for Puerto Rico and Latin America, and hopes to expand the AIS market throughout these regions.
A&D Representative
Erica Donnell has been with the AIS Team since 2008. In her role as A&D Representative, Erica calls on the architectural and design community in the Chicago area to generate brand awareness and project leads. In addition, Erica is the Showroom Manager for the Chicago Merchandise Mart location and also assists the Design Department with design checks and requests. She is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design. Erica has also completed her LEED AP certification.
Inside Sales Strategist
Amy began her career with AIS in April of 2005. Amy’s strong work ethic and dedication to AIS led to her most recent position as Inside Sales Strategist. She now organizes bid opportunities, competitive strategies and forecasting. Additionally, Amy assists the Sales Team with special projects and training. Amy’s positive attitude and focus have made her an invaluable asset to the company. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Fitchburg State College.
Tour & Hospitality Coordinator
Elena began her career at AIS in May of 2000 as a Customer Service Representative. Elena’s personable, outgoing nature helped her build lasting customer relationships, and proved to be invaluable in taking on the role of Receptionist in 2004. Having flourished in this role and ready to take on new responsibilities, Elena continued her AIS career as an Inside Sales Strategist, organizing bid opportunities, competitive strategies and forecasting in conjunction with the Sales team. Recently, Elena has taken on the position of Tour/Hospitality Coordinator where she responsible for booking and planning all AIS factory/showroom tours, as well as organizing new dealer registrations and sales support. Elena holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Framingham State College, and currently resides in Attleboro, MA.
Inside Sales Support
Mitzi Morgan has been a part of the AIS Inside Sales team since 2005. In her support role, Mitzi is responsible for assisting Independent Reps with SalesLogix updates, dealer agreements, and dealer programs. She also assists the Senior Vice President team and National Account Manager, as well as oversees GSA Lead Distribution. Mitzi is a graduate of Santa Ana Jr. College, and currently resides in Orange, CA.
