AIS Welcomes New D.C. Showroom Manager and New Territory Managers

Leominster, MA – Aug. 8, 2019 – AIS, a leading manufacturer of commercial office furniture and seating, has expanded its team with the addition of a new Washington, D.C., showroom manager and the hiring of two territory managers.

Kelsey Loock

 

AIS has hired Kelsey Loock as manager and designer for the company’s Washington, D.C., showroom. Loock comes to AIS from Peabody Office in Washington, D.C., where she worked on the design team.  Prior to Peabody, Loock was at Omnifics, a dealer in Alexandria, Virginia, where she also worked as a designer. She has a bachelor of science degree in interior design from Western Carolina University and is a member of IIDA.

 

“Having worked with AIS products on the dealer side for the past three years, I’m able to assist D.C.-area dealers with solutions for their various needs. It’s exciting to be on the manufacturer side sharing the comprehensive line of products that AIS offers!” Loock said.

 

Amy Ables

 

AIS welcomes Amy Ables as territory manager for Indiana and Kentucky. Based in Columbus, Indiana, Ables will work to strengthen dealer relationships in that region.

 

Most recently, Ables collaborated with AIS as a sales representative for Select Design Group where she worked with clients on all aspects of the sales process. Prior to Select Design Group, Ables was a foundation event planner and assistant for Ivy Tech Community College. She has a bachelor of arts degree in human development and family studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

 

I am very excited to work with this great group of people in such a unique industry. I look forward to focusing my energies on AIS and the furniture solutions that I can bring to my clients!” Ables said.

 

Nick Lamendola

 

Nick Lamendola has been hired by AIS as the territory manager for the state of New York. He comes to AIS with nearly 20 years of experience in sales and relationship management. Lamendola will work to grow and strengthen AIS dealer relationships in the New York City and Westchester County regions.

 

Prior to AIS, he was a territory manager for Groupe Lacasse in New York City where he represented the company’s product lines for a network of dealers, distributors and A+D firms. Earlier positions included working as a senior partner for Pringle-Ward Associates and as the owner/principal at Eco-Friendly Environments.

 

Lamendola holds a bachelor of arts degree in communication from Mount St. Mary’s College in Maryland.
