AIS earns a spot for the eighth consecutive year sharing the honor with just 99 other companies whose charitable contributions exceed $100,000.
Today, AIS announces that the Boston Business Journal has named the company an honoree in its annual 2025 Corporate Citizenship Awards, a recognition of the region's top corporate charitable contributors.
The Business Journal publishes this annual list to showcase companies that promote and prioritize giving back to their communities in amounts exceeding $100,000 annually. Despite the economic challenges of the past couple of years, collectively, these 99 companies gave $416 million in cash contributions.
“AIS is proud to expand our level of giving,” stated Nick Haritos, the company’s president and CEO. “Our continued success, driven by the hard work of our teams and the partnerships we have with our dealers and other stakeholders, have allowed us to assist many charitable programs beyond our home state of Massachusetts. Nationally, we also have an impact thanks to the many hours of volunteer work contributed by our teams and through monetary donations supporting a wide variety of causes.”
AIS’ diverse list of charitable organizations to whom the company has given include Make-A-Wish Foundation, United Way, City of Leominster, Mass., YWCA, and Boys & Girls Club.
AIS supports volunteer efforts by team members through a company program that provides paid time off for those who wish to volunteer at a non-profit organization during work hours. In 2024, the company asked employees to report their hours in an effort to determine the impact of our teams. Over the course of 12 months, AIS employees, including President Haritos, logged more than ten thousand hours of volunteer time.
Haritos has already logged many hours in 2025 and recently accepted a seat on the board of directors for Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island. As a member of the board, he will continue to provide personal and corporate donations, furnish the organization’s offices with AIS product, and raise awareness for this organization that provides exceptional experiences for children with life threatening health conditions.
