Leominster, Mass. | For NeoCon 2023, AIS invites dealers, designers, and guests to “See what’s possible with AIS.” For attendees of the three-day show, the experience will include a first-hand look at the company’s new offerings and the opportunity to try them as AIS unveils its contemporary Chelsea Task Chair, the Encounter™ PowerBench with an H-Leg base, and the Mixers Collection™.
As AIS continues to engage with their dealers and other industry influencers, a recurring theme continues to be the importance of a responsive manufacturer with a “can do” spirit. AIS has long been known for its support of the dealer community, providing solutions that meet workforce and budgetary demands, and for providing quick turnaround times.
“The recent expansion of our laminate casegoods manufacturing lines in our Massachusetts factory is another step in the company’s commitment to supporting our dealers by reducing lead times. Our fourth phase, slated for 2024, will more than double our casegoods manufacturing capacity,” stated Nick Haritos, president and CEO of AIS. “When you partner with AIS, we’re committed to meeting your growing needs.”
New products being showcased at NeoCon include Encounter PowerBench with an H-Leg base and the new Chelsea™ Task chair– both orderable this summer; the new Sit-to-Stand Mobile Desk, part of the new Mixers Collection™ along with Wall Panels and slow close doors that are all orderable now; and the following enhancements for AIS’ Calibrate Series®: Slim Pull and Touch-to-Open cabinets which will be orderable in the fall of 2023.
Vice President of Marketing and Communications Tracy Reed looks forward to meeting with customers and dealers. “Showcasing our new products and surface materials to dealers and designers is always a helpful experience. NeoCon gives us the annual opportunity to connect closely with so many of our dealers and demonstrate all the possibilities with AIS. Garnering their valuable feedback is important – especially as we explore prototypes and potential new lounge options. We always have so much to share.”
The new Encounter PowerBench takes the shared power platform of Encounter PowerBeam and adds ergonomics into its design with integrated height adjustable worksurfaces to optimize health and comfort throughout the day. Available in two base options: Encounter with Laminate Base for a more permanent, upscale feel or the new Encounter with H-Leg with a structural metal leg for a lighter aesthetic. The H-Leg can be painted in any of the 20+ paint colors offered by AIS to create a subdued or vibrant overall look. The Encounter PowerBeam can be freestanding, or storage supported.
AIS will introduce its newest seating product at NeoCon. Designed by Justus Kolberg, the Chelsea task chair couples all day comfort with an eye-catching back design that makes a statement. Its intuitive adjustments and flexible lumbar support ensure users will be up to speed and down to productive business quickly. Simplified finishes and toolless, quick-connect assembly make Cheslea’s specification and installation easy.
An assortment of new and existing AIS products that enhance work productivity and easily mix in to work environments will be formally introduced at the show as the new Mixers Collection™. The collection includes a range of accessory essentials central to workplace design and often positioned as ‘add-on’ solutions to enrich a project. Mixers can be used in workstations or private offices and added to meeting spaces to enhance collaboration. Mixers currently consist of the new Sit-To-Stand Mobile Desk, Desktop Organizer, Suspended Caddy, PET Slings, Laptop Table, and personal task lighting by Pablo® Designs. The collection will continue to grow as new products are introduced.
AIS values client input during product development. This year, the company will feature a moveable PET prototype screen. The screen moves along a track to provide privacy and retracts when it is no longer needed.
Dealers can expect to see a greater breadth of relevant and beautiful solutions as AIS continues to evolve its offering. “Product expansion is often a direct result of dealer feedback,” stated Bill Stewich, executive vice president of design and innovation. “We’ve listened to our dealers and expanded our portfolio to support the ongoing and ever-changing needs of customers today.”
Teams continue to develop new products and enhancements with several coming later this year. From quality solutions to fit the entire organization, to competitive lead times to fit schedules to price points to accommodate budgets, it’s possible with AIS.
