Over 70 new, dynamic options have been added to its Grade A and B upholstery offering. The new collection focuses on refined textured plains and small-scale patterns in rich neutrals and vibrant hues. The refreshed palette is designed to coordinate with its existing mesh, paint, and trim options.
Curated by industry leader, Kerry Rowe a colors, materials, and finish consultant, the breadth of the new AIS textile collection represents collaborations with innovative textile partners resulting in a wide range of versatile options. “Our goal with this upholstery update was to provide the market with relevant, easy to use patterns and colors that harmonize with the larger AIS CMF portfolio. Key Highlights
AIS is very excited to offer Mirador, our new updated solid crepe in a grade one. At 66”, Mirador is approved for all upholstery and panel applications. It is American made from 100% consumer recycled polyester with an anti-microbial finish. Mirador is offered in 11 colors that mirror the palette of grade B performance pattern, Mirage. Mirador can be specified on a wide variety of AIS applications including seating upholstery, panels, screens, overhead storage and pedestal cushions.
Grade B seating options, Frock, Mirage, Prospect and Sway remain our high performance offering with alta™ stain resist technology applied as a standard. Alta’s revolutionary fabric-protection solution uses nanotechnology to safeguard and sustain textile products.
Twelve Wellesley polyurethane choices are now available within AIS’s Grade A collection. This 100% polyurethane option is manufactured with an antimicrobial silver ion technology. Examples of the available colors include chili, quarry, lipstick, java, luggage, black, ocean, and more.
Several grade A and B upholstery patterns have been approved for use on various vertical applications. Upholstery grade A Palette, grade B Blink and Beehave can be specified on screens, overheads and tack boards. This coordination story provides designers with additional tools in the new harmonized upholstery offering.

PET acoustic material, made from 60% recycled water bottles, will be available later this summer in four colors for Channel screen applications. Color ways include, tan, light grey, medium grey, and vibrant blue.
