IEWC sought a beautiful workspace to make employees feel appreciated as an employee owned company. Employees became a part of the process, contributing ideas for the new headquarters. Specific needs included an open floorplan that would foster collaboration, offer flexible storage solutions, and give access to managers. Additionally, the company foresaw future growth and designed the new space for reconfiguration over time.
Working with the local dealer, AIS proposed Matrix Workstations in multiple finishes to enhance new design. The 50" high stations had a mix of fabric and laminate tiles with wood laminate work surfaces for an upscale look. Step-down panels were incorporated to encourage collaboration within departments. Managers were moved to the open plan with outward facing work surfaces to respond to the need for open communication. All stations have storage for personal items as well as archival storage. LB Lounge Seating is scattered throughout the space to foster impromptu meetings and as an option for employees to work differently throughout the day. Executive offices use Calibrate Casegoods with Day-to-Day tables in each office for meeting space.
